MATATO and Villa College Join Forces to Enhance Tourism Education and Professional Development

The Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) has officially partnered with Villa College through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), aiming to foster collaboration in academic and professional opportunities within the tourism sector. This strategic partnership is designed to provide MATATO members with tailored access to specialized courses and educational programs, along with exclusive member discounts.


Recognizing the evolving needs of the tourism industry, the collaboration will actively promote courses that are relevant to current market demands. A central focus of the MOU is the development of human capital, an area of priority for MATATO. The association is dedicated to facilitating training programs and educational initiatives that will contribute to the growth and sustainability of the tourism sector, ensuring that professionals are well-equipped to meet industry challenges.


In addition to these initiatives, the MOU also outlines plans to establish a MATATO Student Chapter at Villa International School.
