Air Arabia Named Official Airline Partner for NHGAM Roadshow 2024

The National Hotel and Guest House Association of Maldives (NHGAM) has announced Air Arabia as the official airline partner for the NHGAM Roadshow 2024. The partnership was formalized in a ceremony in Malé, where a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by Mohamed Bassam Adam, COO and Aviation Head of Lets Go Maldives, the General Sales Agent (GSA) for Air Arabia in the Maldives, on behalf of the airline, and Abdulla Nasheed, President of NHGAM. The event was attended by notable figures, including NHGAM board members and the Vice President, Managing Director of MMPRC Mr. Shiury, DMD Mr. Zihuny, and MATATO CEO Suzan. Their presence highlighted the importance of the partnership in advancing the Maldives' tourism sector.


This collaboration is a key development for the NHGAM Roadshow, which will take place from December 17th to 20th, 2024, in Tbilisi, Georgia, and Baku, Azerbaijan. As the official airline partner, Air Arabia will offer discounted airfares and hotel packages for layovers, ensuring smooth travel and accommodation for participants. These arrangements aim to facilitate the participation of Maldivian tourism professionals and create valuable opportunities to promote the Maldives as a top travel destination.


During the ceremony, Mohamed Bassam Adam emphasized the significance of the partnership, noting that Air Arabia's involvement demonstrates the airline’s commitment to supporting the Maldives' tourism industry. He added that the collaboration would not only help Maldivian hotels, guesthouses, and industry representatives take part in the roadshow, but also strengthen Air Arabia’s role in connecting the Maldives to key international markets.
