The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has unveiled plans to celebrate the upcoming new year with a vibrant cultural event.

The "Maldives Culture and Food Festival" will take place on December 31 and January 1 at Hulhumale' Central Park. The festivities will include a cultural food festival, traditional games, a spectacular fireworks display, and a 15-minute drone show.

The drone show is scheduled for 21:00 on December 31, followed by the midnight fireworks to welcome the new year in grand style. The food festival will run on the evening of December 31 and continue from 16:00 to 22:00 on January 1.

This celebration promises to showcase the rich culture of the Maldives while offering an unforgettable start to the new year.
