New seaplane joins the Manta Air fleet

Manta Air, a domestic carrier, has added a new seaplane to its fleet. 




According to the airline, the newest plan that arrived yesterday was an MSN:552. And this brings the airline's total number of seaplanes to eight. 


 




It was indicated that the new seaplane will be taken into service when the wheels were removed and floats were installed. 


 




The first Manta seaplane flies over to the Maldives was in October 2019 and the airline starts its seaplane operations in November 2019. 


 




Initially, only land-based aircraft were operated by the airline when it began operations in February 2019. There are presently three aeroplanes in service. With a total of 11 fleets under Manta Air.
