Maldives Immigration announced yesterday that clearance was granted to 632 individuals aboard the year’s first cruise liner to visit the country.

In a post on X, Immigration confirmed that the clearance included 216 passengers and 416 crew members of the ship, Crystal Symphony.

Crystal Symphony, registered in the Bahamas, arrived in the Maldives from Seychelles. After docking near the capital, Malé City, yesterday, the vessel departed for Sri Lanka this morning.

Late last year, two cruise liners visited the Maldives during the New Year holidays. On those occasions, Immigration provided clearance for a total of 4,658 individuals.
