A man who fell from the bridge connecting Hulhumale’ Phase I and Phase II has been rescued by the police. According to a police spokesperson, they received information about the fall in the Hithigasmagu area of Hulhumale’ around 5:42 a.m. on Thursday.
Responding promptly, officers jumped into the water and successfully rescued the man.
"The police arrived at the scene, saved the individual, and transported him to Hulhumale’ Hospital around 6:13 a.m.," the spokesperson stated.
The spokesperson further mentioned that the individual is reported to be in good condition, as per the hospital.
Details about the individual were not provided by the police.
