Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) ‘s Facilities Management and Utilities Division (FMUD) has launched the 2024 Winter Preparation event.  The "Winter Prep Kick-off 2024" event, aimed at gearing up Velana International Airport for the bustling winter season ahead. This initiative is pivotal in ensuring that all travelers enjoy a seamless journey as they navigate through the airport during this peak period.  

The event was attended by MACL's Managing Director, Mr. Shareef, along with both DMD’s Mr. Mujthaba, Mr. Lamaan and other senior members of the airport team. Their participation underscores the commitment and collaborative spirit of the organization in enhancing traveler experience.  

During the event, discussions centered on operational strategies and improvements that will facilitate efficient processing of passengers and manage increased airport activity. With these preparations in place, MACL aims to maintain high standards of service and ensure that the winter season is as smooth and enjoyable as possible for all travelers at Velana International Airport.
