Male’ City Mayor Adam Azim recently convened a meeting with the Gulheefalhu Rayyithunge Association to address various challenges encountered in Male'. During the discussion, association members expressed their appreciation for the Mayor's bottom-up communication approach, which they noted is an effective strategy for tackling key issues within the city. An assurance letter for lands from Gulheefalhu was issued during the administration of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih. However, the reclamation was not finalized, and the remaining lands were not handed over by the end of his tenure.
In light of this, President Dr. Muizzu has promised that all lands and documents issued will be honored during his administration. Despite this assurance, recipients have expressed concerns regarding the delays in the process.
