Newton Cross, the Founder and International Butler Trainer of SABA International Butler Academy, has encountered a significant setback as he was denied entry and deported upon his arrival in the Maldives. Renowned for his expertise, Cross has successfully conducted numerous training courses and was scheduled to commence this year's program at Kurumba Maldives, organized by the Maldives Butler Academy.
Despite having an approved Business Visa Application, Cross was unable to gain entry into the country. According to Cross, Kurumba Maldives made efforts to resolve the issue, but unfortunately, their attempts were unsuccessful, leading to his return. Adding to the surprise and confusion, Cross has been banned from entering the Maldives for five years.
This unexpected turn of events comes just days before his highly anticipated butler training course is set to begin on September 11th, leaving many in the industry concerned about the implications for the training program and the students enrolled.
