Mayor Adam Azim, alongside Deputy Mayor Ahmed Nareesh and Councilor Ali Aiman, represented the Maldives at the International Forum on Cultural and Tourism Development of Silk Road Cities 2024 and the inaugural Culture and Tourism Season of Silk Road Cities held in Kunming. 

During the forum, Mayor Azim served as a panelist in a key discussion centered on Economic Globalization and Cultural Diversity. His contributions emphasized the importance of cultural exchange and the potential for tourism development across Silk Road Cities.

Deputy Mayor Ahmed Nareesh and Councilor Ali Aiman engaged in dynamic discussions, showcasing the captivating beauty of the Maldives. They provided valuable insights and tips on how to easily travel to this exotic destination, further promoting it as a must-visit place for tourists.

Additionally, Mayor Azim participated in a special live-stream interview during the Webcast Gala of the International Tourism Alliance of Silk Road Cities, further highlighting the Maldives' commitment to cultural and tourism advancement in the region.
