President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu visited K. Gulhi today, where he was warmly welcomed by residents upon his arrival.

The purpose of this one-day visit is to meet with the island’s council, as he had not previously met them during his council-meeting tour initiated last year. During the visit, the President will also engage with the Women’s Development Committee (WDC) and other members of the local community.

This marks President Muizzu’s first council visit of the year. His previous tour of Kaafu Atoll, conducted in early December last year, included visits to Gaafaru, Huraa, and Hinmafushi, where he held discussions with local councils and WDCs.

The visit to Gulhi highlights the President’s ongoing commitment to strengthening connections with local councils and addressing the needs of island communities.
