All 19 individuals hospitalized for food poisoning at the Immigration Detention Center in Hulhumale' Phase 2 have been discharged.

The affected group, consisting of three women and 16 men, was admitted to Hulhumale' Hospital around 11 pm last night. While 17 were discharged later that night, the remaining two recovered and were released this morning.

Maldives Immigration officials confirmed that an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the food poisoning, though the exact source remains unknown.

The Immigration Detention Center primarily houses undocumented expatriates awaiting deportation.
