Bank of Maldives (BML) has recently opened a branch in Dhuvaafaru. This marks a milestone in their tenure as an active bank, as this is their 40th branch open in the Maldives.
BML Chairman Ahmed Ali Habeeb, Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer Saha Waheed, and Minister of Construction, Housing, and Infrastructure Dr. Abdulla Muththalib graced the inaugural ceremony.
Under the bank's Islamic Finance First strategy, the new branch in Dhuvaafaru will offer a wide range of services, including Islamic banking. This action demonstrates BML's continued commitment to meeting the various demands of its clientele.
Across all provinces, BML maintains its position as the nation's top financial institution with 40 branches, 133 self-service banking centers, 188 ATMs, a vast network of agent banking services, and cutting-edge digital banking solutions.
In addition to growing its physical presence, BML is dedicated to improving its digital platforms and establishing new alliances in order to meet the changing needs of its clientele.
BML has gradually extended its services to every island since establishing its first branch in Malé in 1982, with an emphasis on boosting financial inclusion across the Maldives.
