CleanTech Maldives proudly announced today the successful conclusion of its “Breathe Clean, Live Pure” Cleaning & Wellness Innovation Showcase, held on 9th August 2025 at Riveli Beach Club, Hulhumalé. The event brought together leaders from the hospitality sector, property management, consultancy, professional cleaning companies, and hygiene-conscious individuals from across the Maldives.
The gathering impressed attendees with live demonstrations of world-class, industry-certified cleaning and wellness solutions already used by top hotels in Europe, Australia, and the Middle East, and now making their way into the Maldives market.
Participants were astonished to see in person that genuine chemical-free cleaning can be achieved while reducing expenses, boosting employee productivity, improving well-being, and aligning the ecosystem. The event included:
● Medeco Cleantec (Austria) – A premium, sophisticated steam cleaning solution for non-toxic, thorough sanitation in hospitality, healthcare, and busy environments. Showcased by Mr. Fritz Pattis, this system delivers unparalleled effectiveness, security, and eco-friendliness.
● Hyla International (Germany) – German-designed vacuum and air filtration system using water-based filtration, introduced by Mr. Stefan Paul Fürschuß. Created to eliminate allergens, dust, and odors enhances air quality in high-end environments.
● Symbio Harmoniser (Austria & Maldives) – Introduced by Mrs. Daniela Darxl and Mr.
Aanu Haathif, this health remedy enhances both Medeco and Hyla technologies, establishing healthier, more harmonious indoor settings for both guests and employees.
In his address, Mr. Mohamed Bassam Adam, CEO of CleanTech Maldives, emphasized that the company’s journey is driven by a deep personal commitment to the Maldives’ tourism sector.He acknowledged the trust and support of international partners who share this passion for excellence.
Reflecting on CleanTech’s humble beginnings in 2016 as the Maldives’ first eco-friendly cleaning company, Mr. Bassam Adam recalled pioneering sensitive-surface cleaning solutions and leading national COVID-19 disinfection initiatives. These efforts have set benchmarks in sustainability and inspired new players in the cleaning sector.
