Sri Lanka Tourism officially announced the 9th edition of SATA on 22 August, at the SATA press meet at their office.

The parties that were in attendance in the press meet were Chairman of the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) and the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) — Mr. Buddhika Hewawasam, President of Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators (SLAITO) — Mr. Nalin Jayasundera, CEO of The Hotel Association of Sri Lanka (THASL) — Ms. Amal Goonetilleke, SATA President — Mr. Ismail Hameed, SATA  Vice President — Suraj Khan, Managing Director of Sri Lanka Tourism — Mr. Sampath Nishshanka, and Director of Marketing for Cinnamon Grand — Mr. Virosh Perera.

The chairman emphasized the importance of regional cooperation and shared his vision to have a collaborative approach along with the region's travel organizations and tourism bodies. 

Sri Lanka tourism is the destination partner of SATA 2025 and Cinnamon Grand the Official Host of the event.
