Maldives Immigration has introduced a new outreach program, ‘Immigration Insights,’ designed to enhance public understanding of immigration services and tackle prevalent misunderstandings among locals and expatriates.

The initiative was formally launched on Thursday by the Minister of Homeland Security and Technology, Ali Ihusaan, as a component of a wider endeavor to improve the quality and availability of services.

Via a collection of brief videos and social media updates, ‘Immigration Insights’ aims to clarify complicated processes, simplifying them for public comprehension.

As stated by Controller General of Immigration Ahmed Faseeh, the initiative will address commonly misunderstood subjects, such as passport photo requirements, the function of sponsorship declarations, and the procedure for applying for dependent visas.

Officials highlighted that the launch signifies an important milestone in fostering public trust through increased transparency and communication.

Maldives Immigration seeks to enhance efficiency and reduce stress for the public by optimizing the dissemination of accurate information regarding immigration processes.
