DMD Muzna appointed to STELCO board of directors after two decades of service

The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) has designated Deputy Managing Director Aishath Muzna as a member of the Board of Directors for the State Electric Company Limited (STELCO), acknowledging her exceptional twenty years of service and leadership in the firm.


Muzna, from M. Dawnshine / Malé, started her journey at STELCO in 2000 and has subsequently advanced through various roles, attaining high-level positions in different departments. Her proficiency in corporate management and operational strategy has been vital to STELCO's development and modernization throughout the years. In acknowledgment of her accomplishments, she was promoted to the position of Deputy Managing Director on November 28, 2023.


Her selection to the Board by PCB is viewed as both a recognition of her commitment and a pledge by the government to guarantee that qualified, local professionals with demonstrated skills are given important leadership positions.
