President Dr Mohamed Muizzu extended warm congratulations to Rt. Hon. Sushila Karki on her appointment as the Prime Minister of Nepal.

The President noted the historic significance of her appointment as the first female PM of Nepal, and wished her success on her new journey.

He reaffirmed the bilateral friendship Maldives holds with Nepal and expressed confidence that continued collaboration between the two countries could strengthen her leadership.

President Dr Muizzu concluded by extending his personal best wishes for Prime Minister Karki’s good health and for the continued peace and prosperity of the people of Nepal.
