At the heart of this journey is Chef Alan Palmer, the veteran Project Director whose vision transformed the challenge from a few burners into a world-class, Worldchefs-recognized competition. For many young chefs, his mentorship has been life-changing—turning culinary arts in the Maldives from “just a job” into a respected career.
