Road closures begin on Boduthakurufaanu Magu

The north side of Boduthakurufaanu Magu will be closed to traffic from Saturday for road paving, police said.




The closure will extend from Shaheed Hussain Adam Building to Husnuheenaa Goalhi. Streets connecting to Boduthakurufaanu Magu will also be closed, including:

In addition to traffic restrictions, parking will be prohibited on some streets, including:

The widening and development of Boduthakurufaanu Magu began in August. The project includes:

    Widening of Great Wall Road to four lanes on the north side







  •  


    Tarring of 830 metres of road from Hulhumalé Ferry Terminal to the local market

    Construction of fences







  •  


    Installation of a drainage system







  •  


    Placement of road markings and sign boards







  •  


    Sheet piling work on an area of 737 metres
