A 33-year-old man died on Saturday morning after falling from the 14th floor of Hiyaa Tower 8 in Hulhumalé Phase 2.

Police said the incident occurred at around 8:32 a.m. According to the police, the man fell from Hiyaa Tower 8, and was already deceased when taken to the Hulhumale’ Hospital.

Police also confirmed that the deceased was a Maldivian man.

A video circulating on social media shows the man falling and sustaining severe injuries upon impact. Police are investigating the incident.
