Ibrahim Nasreen has resigned as Managing Director of Public Service Media (PSM).

Deputy Managing Director Abdulla Yameen Rasheed confirmed the resignation on Saturday, stating that the company received Nasreen’s resignation letter earlier in the day.

“The reason stated in the letter is that he wishes to work at a government ministry,” Yameen said.

Nasreen was appointed to the Managing Director post on 23 December 2024, after serving for years within the organisation, most recently as Head of Sales and Marketing.

He is the third individual to hold the position of Managing Director at PSM under the current government.
