Ooredoo Maldives has unveiled its 2026 calendar themed “Tea with Ooredoo,” honoring the simple but significant moments that unite individuals in daily Maldivian life.

Each year, Ooredoo’s calendar narrates a tale grounded in Maldivian culture, artistry, and collective experiences. For 2026, the narrative is inspired by tea—a beloved custom that spans generations and communities throughout the Maldives.

In Maldivian homes, tea represents more than just a beverage. It signifies the beginning of the day, breaks in hectic schedules, and instances of reestablishing bonds with loved ones. The well-known phrase “Hingaa sayah?”, meaning 'Shall we have tea?', embodies this tradition, encouraging dialogue and relationship-building.

Drawing from this cultural tradition, the 2026 calendar presents a distinct tea blend for every month, highlighting flavors sourced from indigenous flowers, fruits, and herbs. Every visual honors the monthly tea flavor, providing a sensory experience for users.

“At Ooredoo Maldives, connectivity transcends technology; it’s about the people and experiences that unite us.” Tea is among the most straightforward yet significant traditions in Maldivian culture. "We honor these daily moments with our 2026 calendar and demonstrate our mission of enhancing lives by connecting individuals in meaningful ways," stated Khalid Al-Hamadi, CEO and Managing Director of Ooredoo Maldives.

This year, Ooredoo Maldives provides a desk calendar, wall calendar, and digital calendar. The desk edition also features specially crafted tea, enabling users to have a tactile, engaging experience during their daily tea time. The digital calendar allows users to view visuals on different screens and platforms.

Ooredoo Maldives envisions the 2026 calendar becoming integral to daily life, infusing Maldivian culture, unity, and communal spirit into each day of the year.
