An expatriate laborer who disappeared from a Thilafushi worksite has been discovered dead two days following the report of his disappearance.

Police announced in a message to the press on Wednesday that the individual was reported missing on Monday while he was working at a location in Thilafushi. A search was initiated right away, according to law enforcement.

Nevertheless, authorities verified that he was subsequently discovered deceased. No additional information was given about his nationality or the conditions related to his death.
