Allied Insurance Company of the Maldives has celebrated its 41st anniversary, highlighting a year marked by strong financial results, broader community involvement, and the rollout of a renewed brand identity, while setting out its priorities for 2026.

The insurer described 2025 as a landmark year, building on more than four decades of operations with steady business growth alongside initiatives centred on sustainability, public education, and strategic partnerships. Key programmes included DIVE40, focused on ocean awareness and marine conservation, and the “Rakka” Road Safety Campaign, carried out in partnership with the Maldives Police Service.

Throughout the year, Allied also organised a series of Allied Fest 2025 events in major cities to promote financial literacy and family takaful offerings. In addition, the company hosted the Allied Baiskalu Race, aimed at encouraging healthier lifestyles within the community.

Allied increased its presence through collaborations and participation in major local and international platforms such as the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA), Travel Trade Maldives (TTM), Bizweek, CEO Summit, Maldives Tax Forum, Marine Industry Forum, Maldives Construction Industry Forum, Maldives Marine Expo, and Maldives Living Expo.

From a business standpoint, the company reported record revenue growth in 2025, maintaining its leading position in the market compared to the previous year. Allied said it continued to upgrade its insurance products to keep pace with changing market dynamics and the demands of emerging customer segments.

A major milestone during the year was the rebranding of Ayady Takaful as Allied Takaful, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of Allied’s Islamic Window. Allied Takaful also gained international recognition, receiving the Takaful Window/Unit of the Decade (2016–2025) award at the IFFSA Awards, along with the GIFA Excellence Award (Takaful) 2025 from the Global Islamic Finance Awards.

Looking ahead to 2026, Allied said it will focus on refining its products to respond to evolving market trends, while preserving financial resilience through partnerships with A-rated reinsurers. The company plans to place greater emphasis on individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises by offering customised insurance solutions, improving service delivery, and enhancing overall customer experience.

Community engagement will remain a central priority, with health and wellness initiatives identified as a key focus area. Allied also reaffirmed its commitment to active participation in strategic corporate partnerships and industry platforms.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, Allied introduced a refreshed corporate logo to reflect its evolving brand while retaining its core identity. An updated Allied Takaful logo was also unveiled to ensure consistency across digital, print, and experiential channels.

To commemorate the milestone, the company announced a 25 percent discount on Comprehensive Online Motor Insurance for motorbikes, applicable to the first 41 new policies, including Allied Takaful plans.

A key highlight of the anniversary event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Allied and the Maldives Police Service for the “Rakka” Road Safety Awareness Campaign 2026. The agreement was signed by Commissioner of Police Ismail Naveen and Allied Managing Director Hussain Luwaiz, reaffirming a road safety partnership that has been in place since 2014.
