The 11th edition of the Maldives Marine Expo will kick off with co-sponsor Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) unveiling a new range of marine products on the opening day of the exhibition, reinforcing its growing footprint in the local marine industry.
MTCC, a state-owned enterprise and the largest civil and marine contractor in the Maldives, has been a driving force behind national development since its establishment in 1980. With an extensive portfolio spanning harbours, roads, bridges, airports and land reclamation projects— alongside nationwide ferry services and bus operations in the Greater Malé Region— the company continues to play a vital role in strengthening connectivity and supporting economic and social progress across the country.
At this year’s Maldives Marine Expo, MTCC will showcase a diverse line-up of marine solutions designed to support and enhance local boatbuilding and marine operations. The product range will include Kashavaru Resin for boat building, as well as Multiflex Steering Systems, featuring hydraulic steering systems, steering and control cables, mechanical steering kits, control levers, steering wheels, steering accessories and trim tabs.
The 2026 edition of the Maldives Marine Expo will run from 5 to 8 February, with exhibition hours from 4:00pm to 10:00pm, bringing together industry professionals, marine enthusiasts and the general public to explore the latest innovations shaping the future of the Maldivian marine sector.
