A dedicated epilepsy clinic has been established at ADK Hospital.
Dr. Nasheeda Saeed, a consultant in Internal Medicine and a neurologist, along with a mental health physician and nursing staff, will be employed at the clinic.
The clinic will operate for two hours once a week during the inauguration period. The days of service will be lengthened as the response grows.
Dr. Nasheeda Saeed informed Adhadhu that the clinic will offer comprehensive care for individuals with epilepsy.
"This clinic is beginning with the support of many individuals." We will begin with one day each week for two hours. We will, with any luck, extend service hours as more individuals sign up. "Anyone experiencing epilepsy can enroll in this clinic," she stated.
A video EEG will be utilized to analyze brain signals, and therapy will be provided at the clinic, Nasheeda mentioned.
She stated that the test will decide if the patient requires surgery or what the most appropriate treatment is for them.
