For the first time, Tarawih prayers will take place in prisons, with Hafiz's designated for the occasion.

According to Correctional Services, provisions have been established at Maafushi Prison and Asseyri Prison for the official conduct of Tarawih prayers.

They also mentioned that meetings about the faith will take place for individuals serving their sentences and those incarcerated on criminal charges, with these meetings occurring during Ramadan.

Consequently, gatherings took place to share knowledge about the faith in order to embrace the month of Ramadan.

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs conducts sessions focused on religion to transform prisoners into morally upright individuals.
