A deceased man has been found in a residence located in the Maafannu area of Male’ City.

A spokesperson for the police stated that the corpse found within a residence on Dhakandhaa Magu was reported to the authorities around 1:01 PM on Friday.

The individual who passed away has been recognized as 54-year-old Mohamed Nizar, Thoathaa Paree, S. Hulhudhoo.

The Police have indicated that, according to the investigation completed so far, there is no proof of foul play or participation of any other person in the death, and no suspicious criminal behavior has been uncovered.

Nevertheless, officials stated that inquiries are in progress to collect additional information and elucidate the situation related to the event.

Consistent with standard police protocols in these situations, the corpse of the deceased has been moved to the hospital.
