The Ministry of Islamic Affairs announced today that Fitr Eid prayers will take place in large gatherings at four sites in the Male' area.

The ministry released a list of places on its website. According to this, Eid prayers in the Male' region will take place at:

- Maafannu Stadium, Malé

- Football Grounds at Vilimale'

- Artificial Trail, Hulhumale' Phase 1

- The vacant parcel of land next to Masjid Hassan Adam, Nirolhu Magu, Heenaamaa Hin'gun, Feyrugas Magu, and Dhun'burigas Magu, Hulhumale' Phase 2

Fitr Eid prayers are set to begin at 7 am.

Alongside these four sites that can host sizable gatherings, Fitr Eid prayers will take place in 24 mosques within the Male' region, as stated by the Islamic Ministry.

The calendar shows that Fitr Eid this year is scheduled for next Friday, March 20.
