An old man drowned on Saturday while fishing with a net in GDh. Fiyoaree.
The police were informed of the incident at approximately 01:42 am on Saturday.
The authorities recognized the victim as Mohamed Hussain, 79, Gahaakoalhi, GDh. Fiyoaree.
According to the police, quoting health officials, he was already dead when he was brought to the Fiyoaree Health Center.
The authorities are investigating his death.
