The 7th edition of Vacations Expo has seen over 10,000 visitors over the course of its 3 days from April 9th, 10th and 11th at Central Park, Hulhumale’.
Visitors have explored an array of destinations, travel options, and unique offers. The event has also created an excellent chance to network with industry experts and discover the newest travel trends.
The expo was officially inaugurated by Minister of Tourism & Environment Thoriq Ibrahim, along with Ace Travels Maldives CEO Mohamed Firaq and deputy director of Malaysia Tourism Mr. T. Ediwanto, highlighting the importance of the event for the travel industry. The event had over 40+ exhibitors in attendance.
One of the highlights of the event was the Visit & Win lucky draws and raffle tickets offered by the exhibitor stalls. They included return tickets to various destinations Bangkok, Paris and Shanghai by Ace travels, Villa Travels, Voyages Maldives and Maldivian Airline. Malaysia Tourism offered special stays with Legoland tickets at hotels in different cities of Malaysia. Crossroads offered day visit packages and lunch/dinner vouchers from its various outlets. Vahmaafushi offered a day trip voucher giving the chance to experience island-to-island zipline experience. More lucky draws included: TMA’s scenic seaplane experience. The Island Institute of Tertiary Education offered a brand new laptop.
