PCB appoints four members to the Visit Maldives board, adding new expertise from tourism and finance sectors

Four individuals have been designated to the Board of Directors for Visit Maldives Corporation Limited.


The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) declared on Sunday that four new members have been added to the Visit Maldives board.


The individuals selected to serve on the board of Visit Maldives Corporation are:


- Hudha Faheem, Vilares/ K. Thulusdhoo


- Aishath Malha, Rasveli/ R. Rasgetheemu


- Ali Shinan, Ma. Rihiraalhu/ Male' City


- Aishath Ali, M. Vaarey villa/ Male' City


 


Hudha recently worked as a communication specialist within the Project Management Unit at the Ministry of Finance. Malha, designated in the area of Accounting and Finance, works as an analyst within the Treasury Management division of the Ministry of Finance.


Aishath Ali serves as the Director General at the Ministry of Tourism, and Ali Shinan holds the position of Deputy Director General of the Ministry.


Along with the directors named on Sunday, the Visit Maldives board consists of Chairman Abdulla Ghiyas Riyaz and CEO and Managing Director Ibrahim Shiuree. The board comprises four non-executive directors along with one executive director.


Visit Maldives was founded on March 4, 2010, under the name of the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC). The company was registered with the Ministry of Economic Development on August 14, 2011.



On July 13 last year, the name MMPRC was altered to Visit Maldives Corporation Limited.
