A man has been arrested following an incident in which another man was stabbed inside a house in Addu.

Police said a man was taken to Hulhumeedhoo Health Center with injuries Tuesday afternoon.

According to police, the incident arose from a clash between two men inside a house.

A 39-year-old man is being treated at Equatorial Hospital. Police did not provide details of the injuries.

Police stated that the fight took place over a drug deal.

A 44-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
