Maldives Police Service reports that a search operation is presently in progress following the report of a 15-year-old girl missing from Hulhumalé Phase II.

The girl who was reported missing has been identified as Aishath Alya Ali, aged 15, living at Flat No. 05-3-2, Hiyaa Tower 16.

The Police, referencing her family, reported that Alya was last spotted departing her residence around 16:15 on Tuesday evening. She had on a white striped crop top, light blue denim, and a black shawl.

The family notified the Police about her disappearance late Tuesday night. After obtaining the report, the Police stated they quickly informed the appropriate units and began a search effort. Nonetheless, she has not been found as of now.

The Police have requested that anyone with details about her location reach out to the Hulhumalé Serious Crime Investigation Unit at 9113900.
