Four journalists receive MNU Dean’s award for academic excellence

The Faculty of Arts at the Maldives National University (MNU) has honored four journalists with the esteemed Dean’s Award for their exceptional academic achievements.


The Dean’s Award is given every semester to students who exhibit outstanding academic performance and uphold the highest levels of excellence in their education.


This semester’s awardees are all working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Public Relations.


The recipients consist of Shafraz Ahmed Hussain, Chief Editor of The Voice, along with Aminath Shaziya and Shifna Ahmed from Public Service Media (PSM), and Leevaan Ali Naseer from Adhadhu.


The awards were given out at a special ceremony hosted at MNU on Thursday.


The University’s Chancellor, Dr. Mahamood Shougee, presented the certificates.



The acknowledgment emphasizes the honorees' commitment to academic achievement as well as their impact on the media sector.
