A 16-year-old boy suffered serious injuries on Monday night after falling from a second-floor apartment at the Amaan Dhoadhi Towers in Hulhumale’ Phase II. 

According to police reports, the incident occurred at Amaan Dhoadhi 5, with the fall being reported around 11:14 pm on Monday.

The boy was initially taken to Hulhumale’ Hospital but was subsequently transferred to the Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) in Male’. A spokesperson from IGMH stated on Tuesday that the boy is currently on a ventilator, but no further details were provided.

Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances that led to the boy's fall.
