Nasif, previously removed from HDC and transferred to WAMCO, now joins MACL board

Ahmed Nasif, the former Chairman of the Housing Development Corporation (HDC), has been named a member of the Board of Directors for Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL).


MACL revealed in a post on Wednesday that Nasif was appointed to the role. No additional information was given.


Nasif held the position of chairman at HDC in the current administration.


On March 5 last year, he was taken out of the position and moved to the Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO).



Nasif had earlier held the position of Managing Director at HDC during former President Abdulla Yameen's tenure. He also held the position of Managing Director at the previous Thilafushi Corporation.
