Four young people were detained from an apartment in Hulhumale’ on Saturday, with police suspecting they had been drinking alcohol, as evidenced by what are believed to be empty bottles.

According to police, the raid was carried out in the apartment in Hulhumale’ Phase I after receiving a report around 6:05 am about a dispute.

During the investigation, officers and crime scene investigators seized evidence, including what is thought to be empty alcohol bottles.

Four individuals were taken into custody: two women aged 26 and 29, and two men aged 24 and 34. 

The incident reportedly occurred at an apartment near Tawa Café, involving a group of intoxicated people who became unruly and engaged in a fight.

The police are continuing their investigation into the case.
