Pres. Muizzu meets visiting Saudi delegation, extends gratitude for continued support

On Monday morning, a delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia visited President Dr Mohamed Muizzu at the President’s Office for a courtesy meeting.


The delegation visiting was joined by Yahya Hassan Al-Qahtani, the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to the Maldives.


In the meeting, the President conveyed his gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, for the nation’s ongoing generosity and unwavering assistance for the Maldives’ socioeconomic progress.


The Saudi delegation expressed its heartfelt appreciation to the President and the Government of the Maldives for the welcoming reception and kind hospitality provided to them.


At the end of the meeting, both parties reiterated their mutual dedication to enhancing the enduring close and brotherly ties between the two nations.



Cabinet ministers and high-ranking officials from the President’s Office also attended the meeting.
