The Ministry of Arts, Culture and Heritage has declared the hiring of various personnel and service providers to enhance its operations and reinforce institutional capabilities.
The ministry has released eight announcements, all with deadlines on the 14th of this month.
Five permanent positions in the civil service have been created.
The roles include: Principal Public Relations Officer, Senior Public Relations Officer, Senior Human Resource Officer, Principal Human Resources Officer, and Senior Administrative Officer.
Additionally, a recent statement has been released regarding the hiring of a Principal Bureau Officer.
In addition to job openings, the ministry has also requested a PR agency to submit proposals for media services for the Ministry and its affiliated agencies for a duration of two years.
A separate announcement looks for a contractor to set up the location for the forthcoming Independence Day entertainment and sporting events, which are part of the July 26 festivities.
The Heritage Ministry has declared openings in various categories, even though it already employs many political staff. Last year, there were 50 political staff members in the ministry.
The ministry, created following Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's assumption of office, supervises four entities: the National Center for Cultural Heritage Protection, the Academy of Maldivian Language, the National Museum, and the National Center for Studies on Maldivian Heritage.
