The individual who lost his life in the accident near Usfasgandu on Boduthakurufaanu Magu on Sunday late afternoon was fatally injured after falling beneath a trailer lorry, according to police.

The individual who passed away was recognized as Ibrahim Nasih, aged 39, Lot No. 20054 (Greenpeak), Hulhumale'. He was declared dead upon reaching IGM Hospital.

Authorities indicated that the probe to date reveals Nasih passed away after being struck by a trailer truck. Nevertheless, it is not thought that he was struck by the vehicle directly leading to his fall.
