Maldivians planning to travel to the United Kingdom will have the opportunity to complete important parts of their UK visa application in Malé next month, as VFS Global will operate a temporary UK visa camp from August 10 to 12.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the clinic will be held at Maagiri Hotel and will enable applicants to complete biometric enrollment and submit supporting documents locally, eliminating the need to travel abroad for these steps.

This service is likely to benefit many travelers, especially students preparing to start higher education in the UK, as well as others applying for UK visas. VFS Global has advised applicants to complete their visa applications through the official UK visa website before scheduling an appointment at the temporary clinic. On the day of their appointment, applicants must submit the necessary documents and provide biometric data.
