The fourth edition of the Construction Industry Forum 2026 (CIF’26) successfully concluded today at Grand Parkside, One Central Park, Hulhumalé, bringing together high-level decision-makers, industry professionals and key stakeholders from across the Maldivian construction sector.
Organised by MEDIUM EVENTS Pvt Ltd and endorsed by the Maldives National Association of Construction Industry (MNACI), CIF’26 provided a platform for meaningful dialogue on the challenges, opportunities and future direction of the local construction industry.
The event was endorsed by Maldives National Association of Construction Industry (MNACI) and had one platinum and three gold sponsors. They are:

The four panel discussions focused on key areas affecting the industry's future:
Panel 1 – Strategies to Overcome Industry Stagnation
The discussion explored practical strategies for stimulating growth within the construction sector, addressing market challenges, improving efficiency, encouraging innovation and creating new opportunities for sustainable development.
Panel 2 – Capitalizing on the Future of Maldivian Infrastructure
The panel examined how strategic investment, innovative financing mechanisms and public-private collaboration can support the development of resilient and sustainable infrastructure across the Maldives.
Panel 3 – Re-engineering Supply Chains in an Age of Global Conflict
The discussion focused on strengthening construction supply chains and building greater resilience against global conflicts, rising costs, disruptions and changing international trade conditions.
Panel 4 – Optimizing Technology and Capacity Training
The final panel explored how technology adoption, skills development and workforce training can enhance productivity, improve efficiency and strengthen long-term capacity within the Maldivian construction industry.
With its fourth edition, CIF '26 further established itself as a platform for industry dialogue, collaboration and knowledge exchange, bringing together stakeholders to identify solutions and opportunities for the continued development of the Maldivian construction sector.
In addition, the forum featured impactful keynote presentations from these knowledge exchanges, sparked meaningful dialogue, strengthened collaboration, and contributed to the ongoing positive transformation of the construction industry in the Maldives.
