The Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) has introduced an official mobile app designed to offer all administrative services in one platform.
WAMCO announced that all administrative services for waste collection will now be conveniently available online via the application. Users can sign up for WAMCO’s waste collection service and ask for separate waste disposal services (CAPS) via the app. The app can be accessed by signing in through eFaas.
Furthermore, the company stated that payment for WAMCO services is now more convenient, as bill information, past invoices, and payment choices can be accessed directly via the app.
The app enables users to communicate with WAMCO agents for service clarifications, file complaints, and track the status of submitted cases and transactions completed via the application.
WAMCO offers waste-management services throughout all cities and towns nationwide, along with the Greater Male' region. The latest app can now be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
WAMCO is a wholly government-owned entity created to enhance waste-management services in the Maldives and ensure waste disposal is done in an eco-friendly way. The main roles of the company involve gathering and properly getting rid of waste from homes, businesses, and offices, transporting the accumulated waste to disposal sites like Thilafushi, and ensuring it is disposed of in an eco-friendly way.
WAMCO encourages waste segregation and recycling within the community and maintains cleanliness in streets and public spaces in Male' and different islands.
