It has been announced that the construction for the new building for Centre for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), set to be seven stories, will be undertaken near the end of this year., with the project being awarded to Yes Maldives Private Limited on the 4th of February.
The location in which the building is set to be built is behind the pre-existing CHSE building, in Male’ with the contract value totaled at 51.6 million MVR.
Currently, the project is at the architectural approval stage as stated by the Minister of Education, Ismail Shafeeu, who has expressed his confidence that the physical construction of the school will begin by the end of this year.
It has been noted that the new CHSE building will consist of 15 classrooms four science laboratories, alongside facilities that include a leading teachers room, an administrative office, three elevators as well as a dedicated parking spot.
