Ibrahim Shuree has resigned as the Managing Director of Visit Maldives, a tourism promotion company.

Shiuree left the company facing criticism concerning the creation of the "Islanders Are Us" slogan, which will be the theme of next year's Visit Maldives' year.

Shiuree, who was appointed to the post on 13 June 2024 at MMPRC, resigned for unknown reasons.

Shiuri is the second MD appointed to Visit Maldives by this government.
