Tree Top Hospital has launched a chance to apply for a Nursing Scholarship Program to support Maldivian students aiming to advance in the healthcare field.
The chance is available for those who register in the September intake.
The initiative was first launched in 2021, with the nursing scholarship awarded to 23 recipients since that time.
Tree Top Hospital announced that within the program, there are currently 12 nurses working at the hospital who have finished their training and education through the program. The hospital stated that the initiative has greatly enhanced the development of skilled Maldivian nurses.
Types of scholarships and their requirements:
Villa College is offering the 2026 scholarship for two programs: the BSc (Honors) Nursing (International) Top-Up and a three-year Nursing Diploma. The hospital announced that applications are restricted to Maldivian citizens only.
Tree Top also mentioned that this chance has been made available to both new and existing students. Applicants for the scholarship must not have been awarded an educational grant from any other institution.
