An incident occurred on the 27th of August, where a 51 year old woman passed away due to a gas leak in the residence of Dhilkushaa Goalhi.

The woman was identified as Zahidha Thaufeeq, aged 51, who had been transferred to a hospital and pronounced deceased upon arrival.

Whereas her daughter, a 19 year old girl who was also impacted by the gas leak, was left in critical condition and is currently still recovering at ADK hospital, though she is showing signs of improvement.

Furthermore, it has been reported that the woman’s body had been held at the mortuary upon the investigation, and has been released back to the family with no post mortem conducted.
