Two people have reportedly been taken to the hospital following a motorcycle collision that took place in Hulhumale Phase II

According to the police, the incident had been reported to the authorities at 8:54am, outside of Kaamil Didi Primary School (KPS), during which both parties sustained injuries, thus had been transferred to the hospital.

The extent of the injuries have not yet been identified, as the incident is still under investigation.

Due to the alarming number of vehicle accidents reported recently, with people suffering significant injuries bordering on life threatening, the Hulhumale’ Police and Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has sat down for an emergency meeting in order to identify accident prone areas, and figure out a solution and a way to ascertain road safety.
